Phoenix Holographix LLC
Phoenix Holographix was founded in June 2022. Encouraged by potential customers, Guenther Dausmann decided to establish a new company with three partners. The idea was to develop new holographic applications, especially in the field of volume holography and digital hardware and software (computer-generated holograms). We knew there was a worldwide demand for a good new holographic photopolymer material.
Besides aiming for the commercial production of products such as photopolymer films, both monochrome and RGB, and holographic plates in different sizes, the new Phoenix Holographix has its primary expertise as an R&D company. We can build prototypes and customized machinery for application and production, such as photopolymer hologram replicators. We deal with all kinds of DOVIDS, conventional and computer-generated.

Mastering the Future
Beginning in 2024, Mr. Sergio Olivera, who has expertise in photopolymer, became our 5th shareholder. Then, we joined our efforts to create an entirely new formulation for our photopolymer film. Together with our chemist and Chief of our Chemistry lab and also shareholder, Doctor Irina Menz, receiving her PhD in photochemistry, we started the development of a green-sensitive and RGB photopolymer material whose parameters can undoubtedly be compared with existing and well-known recording materials in the market for volume holography in terms of brightness, sensitivity, clearness, stability, and so on.
Our films can be sold in sheets and rolls. We also produce Holographic Plates by laminating our film onto a glass substrate. These products supply a demanding market of Holographers, Hobbyists, Artists, Students, etc.
Our Experience at Your Disposal
The different characteristics of our photopolymer, such as temperature resistance, allow us to work with interesting color-shifting effects. As a result, a monochrome film will be more than enough to create multi-color holograms by varying the exposure time besides oven temperatures. Artists and creative holographers will welcome these characteristics. Because of these features, we are also working on monomer-containing UV material to use as a shifting medium. Another feature of our photopolymer is that a weak and latent image is viewable right after exposure. This image is not strong enough to interfere with the “object beam” (HOE multi-focus) and will not create ghost images. After baking it, we will get a very bright hologram.
Furthermore, Phoenix Holographix GmbH will also develop holograms for passports and ID cards and the technology to personalize photopolymer holograms for documents. We’ll also offer a service for computer-generated holograms, providing the software to our potential customers, who will create their digital holograms on their computer and send them to us to be written on photoresists or photopolymer using our Hologram Writer.

Computer-Generated Hologram
Innovation as a Service
We offer a service for computer-generated holograms, providing the software to our potential customers, who will create their digital holograms on their computer and send them to us to be written on photoresists or photopolymer using our Hologram Writer (C-Gram).
The C-Gram is a machine for producing computer-generated holograms (CGH) and diffraction optical elements of all kinds. It can also master surface relief and volume holograms. The software package consists of various individual programs.
Basic package:
- CGWriter: Control of the system and the exposure processes.
- CGCalc: Calculating common 2D/3D and 3D multistereograms, hidden information, and Ebeam conversion. A script editor is integrated.
Extended package:
- CGCalcVL: Calculation of Open Aperture multistereograms.
- CGCalcFP: Calculation of full-parallax multi stereograms.
- CGCMulti: Calculating holograms with multiple viewing zones.
- VHMaster: Calculating H1 masters for multistereograms.
- Embossed3D: Calculating 3D holograms with the help of lens and mirror effects.
